24:10:45:11.  Renewal process. The department may renew a South Dakota postsecondary credential for a five-year period upon receipt of a completed renewal application form provided by the department, the required fee, and official documentation verifying completion of 150 hours of in-service approved by a local credentialing committee. These hours must be earned during the preceding five years.
