24:15:06:32.  Coach education endorsement. A coach education endorsement for K-8 elementary or 7-12 assistant coach requires successful completion of a care and prevention of athletic injuries course or completion of an equivalent coaching program.  A coach education endorsement for 7-12 head varsity coach requires a methodology or theory course in the sport to be coached and a care and prevention of athletic injuries course, or completion of an equivalent coaching program. No state test is required or available to validate this endorsement.
