41:06:56:05.  Mandatory briefing and checkin. All licensees are required to attend an orientation meeting the day proceeding the opening day of the season at the regional office in Rapid City. All successful hunters must submit their bighorn sheep to a conservation officer or other designated department representative for inspection and permanent marking within 24 hours after the kill.
