         FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to  prohibit the release of information concerning the applicants and holders of permits to carry a concealed pistol.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
     Section  1.  That chapter 23-7 be amended by adding thereto a NEW SECTION to read as follows:
     No state agency, political subdivision, official, agent, or employee of any state agency or political subdivision, may knowingly release or permit access to any application, list, record or registry of applicants or holders of permits to carry a concealed pistol to any person except another law enforcement agency.
