         FOR AN ACT ENTITLED, An Act to  make an appropriation for the purposes of funding the Birth to Three Program in the Department of Education.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA:
     Section 1.  There is hereby appropriated from the general fund the sum of one million eight hundred fifty thousand ninety-nine dollars ($ 1,850,099 ), and authorized in federal fund expenditure authority the sum of two million five hundred twenty-one thousand four hundred forty-three dollars ($ 2,521,443 ) or so much thereof as may be necessary, and 3.0 FTEs to the Department of Education for the purposes of funding the birth to three program.
     Section 2.  The secretary of the Department of Education shall approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized by this Act.
     Section 3.  Any amounts appropriated in this Act not lawfully expended or obligated by June 30, 2010 , shall revert in accordance with the procedures prescribed in chapter 4-8.
