Betty Oldenkamp, SD Youth Care Providers, presented current information regarding the youth care provider organizations in South Dakota. (Handouts 1 & 2)

Ms. Oldenkamp introduced Eric Klooz, Abbott House, Mitchell, to the committee. Mr. Klooz presented statistics and comparisons regarding SD youth care groups and answered questions from the committee.

Jay Van Hunnik, Wellspring, Rapid City, was commended by the committee and he answered their questions.

The committee commended all of the SD Youth Care Providers and pointed out that they do very important work for very little monetary compensation.
