AMENDMENT FOR HOUSE COMMERCE AND ENERGY COMMITTEE ENGROSSED BILL

___________________ moved that HB 1059 be amended as follows:


    On page 49, between lines 5 and 6 of the House Commerce and Energy Committee engrossed bill, insert:

"    Section 18. There is hereby appropriated from the general fund the sum of one hundred sixty thousand dollars ($160,000), or so much thereof as may be necessary, to the secretary of state for the purpose of complying with the provisions of this Act.

    Section 19. The secretary of state shall approve vouchers and the state auditor shall draw warrants to pay expenditures authorized in this Act.

    Section 20. Whereas, section 18 of this Act is necessary for the support of the state government and its existing public institutions, an emergency is hereby declared to exist, and section 18 of this Act shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval.".
