HCR 1002 (HJ p. 170) Urging Congress and the South Dakota congressional delegation to
support federal legislation to protect the United States Postal Service.
HCR 1003 (HJ p. 171) Encouraging South Dakota hospitals with maternity care services to
become Baby Friendly by implementing the Ten Steps to Successful Breastfeeding.

SB 66 permit the filing of certain documents with the secretary of state by electronic means
and to remove the notary requirements.
SB 67 provide provisions that all documents filed with and maintained by the Office of the
Secretary of State may be filed electronically.
SB 63 revise the term of service of regional railroad authority commissioners.
SB 64 revise provisions regulating the perfection of security interest liens filed on-line.
HB 1016 repeal certain rules relating to use of the centennial logo.
HB 1024 repeal the authorization to sell certain surplus real estate under the control of the
Department of Corrections in Aurora County and Minnehaha County.
SECOND READING OF SENATE BILLS AND JOINT RESOLUTIONS
SB 62* allow certain alcoholic beverage licensees to charge a corkage fee for serving wine
supplied by customers.
SB 70 revise the procedures for filing referred laws, initiated constitutional amendments,
and initiated measures and to revise certain election provisions and campaign finance
requirements for referred laws, initiated constitutional amendments, and initiated
