Governor's Appointments:

Confirm appointment of Terry Sabers, Davison County, Mitchell, South Dakota, to the South Dakota Board of Education

Confirm appointment of Patricia Simmons, Minnehaha County, Sioux Falls, South Dakota, to the South Dakota Board of Education

        SB 25     provide for the creation of a new state accountability system for public elementary and secondary schools.
            The Committee on Education at the request of the Department of Education

        SB 79     require undergraduate students to pay the self-support rate of tuition for certain credit hours in excess of the credit hours required for the student's baccalaureate degree program.
