HB 1066 continue the current rate of the gross receipts tax imposed on visitor-related
businesses.

Hawley, Hoffman, Hunhoff (Bernie), Johns, Killer, Kirschman, Magstadt, Parsley,
Peterson, Romkema, Rounds, Rozum, Sly, Tulson, Tyler, Verchio, Werner, and
Wick and Senators Brown, Adelstein, Bradford, Buhl, Frerichs, Johnston, Jones,
Kirkeby, Krebs, Lucas, Rampelberg, Sutton, Tidemann, Welke, and White
HB 1039 clarify the gross receipts subject to taxation by the retail sales and service tax,
the gross receipts tax on visitor related businesses, the municipal non-ad
valorem tax, and the municipal gross receipts tax.
