Appointment of commission employee as law enforcement officer.
The
commission may appoint an employee to be a law enforcement officer pursuant to § 23-3-27. Any
person appointed as a law enforcement officer under this section shall qualify, become certified and
remain certified pursuant to law. The commission may revoke the appointment at any time.
