50-11-8.   Registration of federal certificates--Fee--Violation as misdemeanor. Unless otherwise expressly provided by the provisions of this chapter, the federal certificates of every civil aircraft owned and operated within this state shall be registered annually with the secretary of transportation in the manner prescribed in §§ 50-11-9 to 50-11-31, inclusive. The required fee shall be paid to the director at the time of registration. A violation of this section is a Class 2 misdemeanor.
